October....how i love theeee!

This month went by too fast to even comprehend. So many adventures. Lots of work and lots of changes.

All month Macy thought Halloween was "today" and all she wanted to be was a bunny. It started off as a "pink, blue, white and yellow" bunny. We compromised and I made her her favorite color, pink! It was so much fun to make and I really can't wait for all the costume projects that are ahead of us...right up my alley!

Remy could not decide what to be so I took them to a Halloween store and out of all the great costumes Remy decided on the Pink Unicorn. Had I known she wanted to wear a stuffed animal I would have pulled out one of the thousands we have in the garage. I could not say no to the sweet little face and she was a Unicorn riding Cowgirl! She can pull off just about anything she wears :)  She even had a small speaking part in the class Halloween Performance...a star is born! She loves the spot light :)

The girls have changed so much in the last few months. They are getting easier in public, less fears of me having to take them anywhere solo, Papa is much more brave than I am.  They are good with detail and listen fairly well for three year olds. I cherish our nights around the dinner table and get to hear all about their friends and what they are learning in school. They amaze me dailey!

The month ended with a little nip & tuck for mamma. Finally getting the ol'bod back and can't wait for the reveal over the Holidays! The recovery has been hard but Mike has been a true partner and has been amazing. The girls have also been truly wonderful and keeping their distance as to not hurt mommy. I am so blessed!

We started the month off with a great trip with all our neighbors to the LA County Fair. I have not been since I was a child and it was the best time! We got there early and hit all the rides with no lines and were out of there by 1pm and it was the last day so it was not busy, just an FYI for next year! Oh and don't try and eat a turkey leg or a hot dog by yourself....never in my life have I ever seen a hot dog that could feed a family of four and then we wonder why we have such a obesity issue in the states! WOW ;)

We managed to get out to the Terra Rejada Family Farms on the HOTTEST day of the year....record temps for this time of year!!!! We met a few friends out there but all the kids went in different directions and we never got a chance to visit, next year friends :)
